Welcome to Iron Corner

The IRON Corner is a non-profit educational website dedicated to providing information involving the use of iron preparations to treat patients with iron deficient anemia and/ or low iron stores in preparation for surgical procedures.

The website was developed by a collaborative team of physicians, pharmacists, and nurses from the Society for the Advancement of Blood Management sponsored by an unrestricted grant from Watson Laboratories. The team has identified content to provide practical resources, guidelines, and current research to assist in the effective iron management of patients.
